needed: front coil spring
I was wondering if anyone has one or a set of used front coil springs in good condition that they dont need anymore. I found that one of mine was broke and want to replace it while im converting it to disc up front.
Thanks Mario

I have a set that are in pretty good shape. You can have them for a fair price. I live NE of Dallas on the other side of Plano.
Email Me if interested. smokie1955@yahoo.com

I live in Lancaster just outside of dallas city limits I can litterally walk down the street and be in dallas. How much would you want for the springs. I would need them hopefully by saturday So i can get them cleaned up and painted and do the swap that evening or sunday.
Thanks Mario

Shipping can be pricey on coils. I picked up a set on e-bay and shipping was more than what I payed for them (I still saved about $25 over the cost of a new set). The good thing about front springs is you can get them off a lot of GM products. Don't limit yourself to just 67-72 trucks. This is what Hollanders shows will fit:
BLAZER/JIMMY (full size) 69-82 Front CHEVROLET FORWARD CONTROL 63-93 Front CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 63-87 Front CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 88-91 Front; VIN model "R" CHEVROLET VAN 64-95 Front CHEVROLET VAN 96 Front; exc. Express GMC FORWARD CONTROL 67-93 Front GMC PICKUP TRUCK 67-87 Front GMC PICKUP TRUCK 88-91 Front; VIN model "R" GMC VAN 67-95 Front GMC VAN 96 Front; exc. Savana SUBURBAN 63-87 Front SUBURBAN 88-91 Front; VIN model "R" The springs can come from a 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton or 1 ton. They all fit but have different spring rates. You will probably want to stay with a 1/2 ton rated spring. I am sure you can find a used set local.
