Newbie from St Augustine FL

Been lurking on the site for a while looking for ideas on what to get. I had been on here years ago when I had my 61 Apache 10 but forgot all my info.

I just got a 65 Suburban 2wd, from Arizona proving grounds with a factory prototype turbo on a 292 6cyl and 4 spd. with air. The guy I got it off of found a man in Idaho that told him there was 10 of these made and tested in Arizona to see feasibility of turbo truck. All were supposed to be destroyed but this is a survivor, the previous owner had worked at the proving grounds and got the title to his name.
It has 2 saddle bag fuel tanks on both sides of the frame rails for a total of 70+ gallons of gas, the A/C was to see if it could withstand the heat along with keeping the testing folks alive.
The body has some rust on front fender & foot wells, and rear quarters are dented and one side banged back out with what looks like a ball peen hammer. It has probably one of the first window tint jobs done and it is a bear to get off.

Plans are to get it running, stopping, lower it with springs (too old for air bags), power steering, get the air back in it and drive it.

Henry J is my devoted puggle - that's half pug and half beagle.
