It's a 55? / Any love is Good love????

Thought I'd share a couple craigslist adds I found just for laughs ,
I'm usually under the impression that any love you show these old neglected trucks will be an improvement . Maybe the customized 55,would look better washed and in different lighting , I kinda like the taillights though .

Somebody needs to take the bottle of tequila and welder away from this guy before he hurts himself, or others.

Any love IS good love ,but NOT from a molester

The '57 is salvageable....I think.

The other? Gawd, what did that poor truck ever do to him? That thing is truly an abortion. I try never to speak ill about another man's vision for his vehicles but I doubt ANYONE would think that truck looks good....maybe even the guy who is selling it.
Poor truck.

Re: It's a 55? / Any love is Good love????

The 57 was a long bed but he just cut the back frame off instead of sectioning the frame ,Wonder what was done to the springs? looks like he cut up a washing machine to patch the door and fenders. I wonder if it looks better now than when he got it.....

4 grand for the 57,
18 grand!!! for the 55 thing, guess it doesn't hurt to ask, just hurts to look at .

Sometimes people see things differently than we do.
I think we need to take up a collection for eye glasses for those two guys.

Re: It's a 55? / Any love is Good love????

The 55 reminds me of some vintage dirt track racers. It might be saveable but I don't think I have the vision for it.

LMAO. I'd gnaw off both arms and a leg if necessary.

Re: It's a 55? / Any love is Good love????

I am sure that custom was a really good idea in the 70's, hate that a nomad sacrificed its tail for it. Chevy grille would not have been my first choice. And usually you need to pancake the hood for a chopped TF to look right, nose gets way big compared to the cab, I used to date a girl like that.

People like that are why we have the term "Hack Job".
Looks like a lot of work, without a large payoff.
With a new front clip and a paint job you might have something.

Tow setup must be for pulling the fish out of the lake. There is what looks like a nice rod underway in the background.

Re: It's a 55? / Any love is Good love????

Ya know, a LOT of "tow trucks" made from TF trucks in the 60's were abominations.

But compared to this last ad? They're AMBR (America's Most Beautiful Roadsters) winners by comparison. My gawd that thing is just a Frankenstein. Check that; Frankenstein was a GQ model by comparison!

Re: It's a 55? / Any love is Good love????

Back in the middle of October it looked like this thread would die a natural death.
But now it looks like 1958Warrior wants to make this his own ongoing "Bashing Thread."
Bashing is against the rules of the forum.
Everyone has their own tastes. Each to his own.
Think about it; There's always the possibility that one of these trucks belongs to a forum member.
How would you feel if your truck showed up in this thread?
It's time to shut this down before it gets any uglier.
