My company is currently building an ocean going(California to Hawaii)car carrier.
About 800' long.It carries cars and tractor trailers. It uses one single diesel engine a little larger than the one pictured. And yes,they run slow(most all run under 1800 rpm)but the torque is outragious! Mike. |
