Hello folks..been lurking for a while and now ready for all the wisdom on this forum. I have a a 51 Chevy Bel-Air custom under construction, a 59 ford Panel and used to have a 67 Chevy 3/4 to Camper Special & a 62 Mercury Monterey both long gone but wish now i had. So Im now looking at a 63 Suburban, original paint 235-I6(???) 4 speed barn doors, that is in excellent shape with no rust issues... was a service vehicle for Disney I here. Comes with a spare 250, centerline wheels and a few extra parts. seller is asking 6k for it....is this in the right range for this??

Good paint, no rust, no body work needed. Everything working and running. Good tires. Basically a good daily driver turn key and go. Then likely yes albeit a bit on the higher side of "normal". Pics would help. Typically a good daily driver with good paint will generally go for $4-7K. (around here anyway)

Original paint (so there are no surprises hiding) and no rust issues. That's two BIG positives. Yeah that's in the right range.

Many have spent far more than that trying to revive a rusty one! I say thats a bargain for sure.

Hey, from the pics...looks to be in pretty good shape. And 5 to 6k seems fair for being all original. Some of the rusty subs could take 5K just to get to where that one is...not counting the blood sweat and tears. If ya really want a 63 Sub, go for it!

PS- lovin the wear and tear on the bumbers!

looks like the deal will go thru this week...looked at it today...little rust in the drivers door & outside rocker as well as in the lower (a pillar) windshield bend...looks like the drip rail drain hole is right at the seam at the top of the a pillar is the cause...otherwise a pretty solid truck.

Used but not tore up.... No middle/rear seats... Wood is solid gauges work , windows slide....going to store it for a bit at my buddy's shop 200 miles from home...will go there on the weekends to start the upgrades to ps/pb and hopefully a mild drop and different tires as $$ permits.

Check it over really good.. Look at the rockers, the inner kick panels where they meet the floor and rockers.. California trucks do rust--it just seems to hide better. That price to me sounds high unless you're interested in paying for the "Disney DNA". I think at the $5k-$6k price there should be some negotiation.. UNLESS It truly is solid and never rusted. From the looks of those rear wheel tubs, there is some rust there.. If it's not an illusion, be sure to check all the aforementioned locations for possible cancer.
