Re: SS vs nonSS BRAKE LINES...
It all depends on your situation and the plans for your ride. I went with SS brake & fuel lines and glad I did.

SS will last forever.
When I looked at the price difference, it wasn't enough for me to not get SS.

I used the newer NICOPP brake lines.(nickel+Copper+Iron) Really easy to bend and they will not rust. CNC 325 is 3/16" and CNC 425 is 1/4". I bought mine from this guy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-325-3-16...-/141087737242 http://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC425-1-4-C...item20d91a2285 Best price I could find. You can actually coil it around a broom handle by hand without kinking it. Some of the auto parts stores carry it but it is quite a bit more $. LockDoc

I used non stainless. By the time they rust out I'll be pushing up daisies and won't care.

Re: SS vs nonSS BRAKE LINES...
Yeah, I had a brake line rust out of a 99 truck last year. In my area it would be advisable to get the stainless
