missing voltage Regulator

Was working on getting my taillights and brake lights working and noticed I had no voltage Regulator. I should have one right?

...unless your alternator has been replaced with an internal regualtor type alternator. If so, there should be some jumpers on the connector that normally plugs into the external regulator.

if u have 283 ??

that is not stock so maybe they changed the alt at the same time

check out grounding issues as the cause of rear lights not working
