Lowered 75 C10 long bed

Finally convinced myself to get a start on this monster! First off its a 75 with 81k original miles. Motor is a 350 with auto trans.

To start off I started with replacing the body panels that were rusted out, and added a rear axle flip kit and 1.5" off springs in front.
Next up is my 2.5" drop spindles and shocks from Lmc and rear shackle set with c-notch on the rear.

I am in trouble when it comes to my cab repair panels, without knowledge of welding and how exactly these are replaced. My most important task before paint.

And I am wanting to fit 22s possibly 24s depending in how wide I can go, and how low.

Anything thoughts? Please share

looks like a good start I like the factory white and green two tone with white top. looks like you may have some camber issues on the driver front. from the pictures it mostly looks like rocker panels that need work and you don't have to be a good welder to spot weld just take your time drill the factory spot welds pull the old one put on the new and re spot weld after double checking placement a hundred times.

Looks like a good start to be a great truck! Enjoy the truck there a blast.

My only other comment to add about welding is if your very unsure of your welding skills before you try and tackle it on your trust made do some practice testing, just so that you're more comfortable with it.

Thanks! There is a little camber on the front, heard control arms would bring that out? Also heard spindles would too. Not quite sure!

You need to go get an alignment. They will add shims to the upper arm to correct it.

You could get narrower lower arms. Spindles wont correct it but just lower it more. If you put the original springs back in and did spindles then you wouldn't have the camber issue.

Good looking truck. I like the paint scheme and I also like the thin whites. I'm old school....lol. I've got my fair share of rust to tackle but you can do it or find somebody willing to help.. Good luck.

Did u have to notch when u flipped leafs? If not, will for sure huh w shackles?

I just did an axle flip kit and was fine without flipping, then I did a c notch and shackles, definitely needed to notch for the 2 inch drop shackles

Very good pictures, thank u. Who'd u buy notch plate from? Maybe u made it? Think ill flip first like u. Dont know what the notch kit costs but looks like welder neighbor could fab me one up.
