Re: Gapp's 64 project

Your truck looks sweet man! How is your front suspension set up and what size drop blocks do you have in the rear and also what size are your white walls? Do your tires rub the front inner fender wells? I'm doing the suspension on my truck now and would like to end up with your drop are those pics at fully aired out?

Re: Gapp's 64 project

Thanks! Sorry I never did post up build specs and whatnot. So here's the skinny:
Rebuilt 283
350 tranny floor shift w/ shift kit
Ramhorn manifold w custom bent exhaust and flow master single chamber mufflers
76 front end w disc

Dominator 2600# bags from AVS
manual valves
Viair 480c compressor
2.5" Dropped spindles
C notch w 2" dropblocks with custom front and rear shock mounts
15x8 rear steelies, 15x7 front steelies with Hankook h724 215/75/15 whitewalls all around.
Haywire complete wiring kit
cpp brake booster w prop valve
Bleacher planks were given to me by a buddy tearing down an old school stadium. They came in 20' lengths.
Had to trim the wheel wells in the rear to accommodate tires.
Shaved tailgate chains and holes.
New windshield
Pics are with truck aired out. The front tires lightly touch inner fender wells in front only.
LCAs almost touch the ground aired out.
I normally ride w 55-60 psi front, 35-40 rear and it rides nice

Nice truck! You should look into Porterbuilt's forward arms too. Solves a lot of common issues.
