I got my Accel unit off a Trans Am the local bone yard had just towed in (kid had rolled it), then got new wires and hotter plugs. A friend of mine that is a mechanic had it switched over and tuned in an hour, but it would have taken me longer I'm sure. He did it while I went to lunch that day, 'cause he knew how, and also knew that I would be asking him all kinds of questions, LOL! He's one of those guys that doesn't like anyone around or any interruptions when he is working on something. And I highly reccomend the change, it made a great change for the better in my truck. Also, you might check the f.a.q. section, there should be some useful info there.
