10 bolt posi clutches

Where can I find replacement posi clutch discs for my 86 factory posi in a 8.5 10 bolt? Last time I had the cover off I found a partial disc and a partial ring gear tooth in the bottom of my pumpkin. I got some nice richmond 4.11 gears to put in but I need to fix the posi clutch packing at the same time.

Pictures? Clutch-style traction devices are not factory equipment in our trucks. The Eaton G80 or Gov-lock is standard and it does not have clutches...it can grenade and shed parts, but not clutch material.

Look up the G80 or Eaton Gov-lock on youtube, there are some good animations and how-it-works videos.

Still uses clutches I'm pretty sure.

Re: 10 bolt posi clutches

I stand corrected, it has a clutch system as part of it's mechanism. I should have stated that better, it is not a clutch-type posi as can be commonly found.

Eaton G80 vs. Eaton Posi (clutches)

Re: 10 bolt posi clutches

So I'm familiar with how the g80 in the 90s worked with the centrifugal cams that locked it up I though the earlier ones were clutch packs. I guess ill have to pull it apart n get pics or look closer at the carrier for info unless there's one type of clutch carrier that used stacked clutch plates
