60/40 seat install ??

I am trying to install a 94 60/40 seat in my '70. Can someone post up a pic of how and where they placed the inside bracket of the passenger side seat. Mine seems to want to be placed on the high spot on the trans hump. I'm sure I have seen an install thread somewhere, but I cannot find it. Thanks.

Cool Re: 60/40 seat install ??

That's how I did mine. I used a small pipe nipple to hold the front up. 4-6" nipple I think bought at lowes. I don't have any pictures of the pipe but of the seat.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: 60/40 seat install ??

I placed it in the same spot, but I had to move were the slider locked in and I lower the seats by 3/4 of an ich so I could look through the windshield properly

Re: 60/40 seat install ??

Thanks for the replies guys. Just so I am clear, you guys placed the front, inside passenger side bracket up on the hump that I marked in red? And drilled your hole where the yellow dot is?

Talking Re: 60/40 seat install ??

My gas tank is gone out of the cab and I have the top of the seat up against the back cab wall.
Best I can do.

Thanks. My tank is out too. I see that you have a gap between your seats. I was planning on having them together. Thanks again for your help.

U could slide them closer together but I like the room to put things when I'm traveling to get them out of sight.
