56 3100 value????
I am not real familiar with these trucks' values.
One has come up for sale. It looks in good shape. 283 runs good. Truck needs lots of cleaning. Paint is faded. I think all trim is there. Looks like it may have been stored for a while. Don't know anything else about it yet. Seller is asking $2500. I am looking for a quick project that I can clean and fix up and flip and this looks perfect. But I'm not sure on the value once in good running and driving condition. Any advice on a price point? I have yet to see in person. I will know more and update when I do. I have tried to attach picture.

If that truck is in SC, I looked at it about a year ago- NOT worth $2500 or to used for fixing and flipping.

It is in NC now. That's not saying it wasn't in SC last year though.
If it is the same one, what do you think it is worth?

Re: 56 3100 value????
By the looks of the truck the lower fender, door, and door skin are rotted out which to me means that the door step, front cab corner, fire wall and rear cab corner is probably gone as well.
If you wanted to pick it up for a quick flip you might be in for a challenge. If you wanted a long term resto project or the base for a street rod/ rat rod I would look it over real good and be honest that you will likely be replacing lots of parts and start by offering the guy 1/3 of what he's asking and thats only because it runs |

Agreed- there were lots of sheetmetal issues (both tinworm and damage). I wouldn't go over $900.
