Valve covers, mag wheels

OK guys, I'm going back in for what my Dr has called a "non FDA approved" surgery on my spine, and has told me that no matter how successful the surgery is, I'm never going to be able to drive or work again. And since my gear head son is at Baylor and is now engaged, I have decided to throw in the towel and just try and get rid of as much as I can, rather than just occupying space.

17x8 Wheel Vintiques chrome Rally wheels 5x5 with small caps. 300 plus the ride.
16.5x8 8 lug slot mags. I bought them off here and still have them in the boxes they came in. 175 plus the ride.
PML BBC polished short script valve covers. If you haven't seen them yet, look on Google, they look gorgeous. They sell for 450, mine are mint and it would be 150 plus shipping.
2 pairs of MT SBC valve covers, either set, 40 plus shipping.
1 pair of A/FX SBC valve covers, blasted and ready to bolt on. 50 plus shipping.
1 pair of the old Pro Stock BBC valve covers. 60 plus the ride.
1 pair of BBC tall Edelbrock elite valve covers. 75 plus the shipping
Set of perfect MT Challenger 15x8 6x5.5 wheels in perfect shaped. These haven't been made for a while, and they aren't a cheapie one, these were made by Alcoa. 400 plus shipping,
One set of buddy buckets that need cushions and covers. These will be for P/U only, but Ill sell them for 300 to hopefully entice someone who lives in the Lubbock, Odessa area to come over to Hobbs.

If you want pics, send me a text at 575 605 1932 and I can get them over to you. As the garage clears out I'll list more. Shipping will take me about a week cause I'll have to have my buddy box them up and mail them out. I'll also donate 5% of the sales to the site. I've enjoyed the friends I have made thru the site and have benefited more than I can say from the expertise that gets shared here everyday, and would like to give a little back for the benefit of others. This will be the first time in 28 years I haven't had at least one of these 67-72 trucks in my possession, but I need to accept my new reality.

Re: Valve covers, mag wheels

Hey my friend,I just want to let you know how sorry I am to hear about your situation. It appears you are dealing with it well, which speaks volumes of what you're made of. Acceptance is possibly the most valuable trait one can possess. When you have that you have it all. That's what the expression "It is what it is" is all about. It's also big and generous of you to offer the 5% back to the site. very cool indeed. I'm fortunate to not have health issues at this point, but have had my share of life altering events in recent years and am still trying to work through it. I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel, but if things never get better I guess I can live with how it is. There are a few things you're offering that I'd love to buy,but finances are part of my problems,so good luck with your sales, your surgery, and life beyond that.

Hey Scott, send me your number and I'll shoot you some over the phone. I'll go over them with a fine tooth comb and if you get them and don't like them, just send em back for a refund.

Re: Valve covers, mag wheels

Ok guys, phone is acting up on the pics, so I'll have my family help me pull everything aside and just post pics of everything here.

Brett, I can store them for you, but I doubt my son can bring them down with him, since he usually comes back in his fiancé's challenger.

Re: Valve covers, mag wheels

So sorry to hear about your health issues. You mentioned you would be posting other items in the future. Would you happen to have any 69-70 bucket seats. If possible I just need a complete driver bucket seat only with tracks and a center console. Let me known please. Good luck with your surgery and I will keep you in my prayers.

Re: Valve covers, mag wheels

Here's some more pics. Guys, I appreciate all the encouragement on my health, but after that complication I had last year from the medication that caused me to hit a pole, I've decided I could never live with myself if I hurt someone because of being too selfish to give up driving. My dr has told me that most of the 23 medications I take daily will need to be taken for the rest of my life. The first 14 years of my life I didn't get to drive and I remember it pretty fondly, so I figure I'll just do the same with whatever I have left.
