Daily Driver

Not the best pic, but have been driving it daily for a month. It has a 307 and 3 speed, makes people smile when they see the old man! Last tank of gas 13 mpg. For the purpose of full disclosure, I have a city commute, never get over 45 and try to coast any chance I get, lol. Only change from OEM is I am running an HEI.

Re: Daily Driver

Good looking little ride. When driving our trucks we do get a lot of people that look and smile at them. They are probably remembering the good ol' days. When America made things that lasted.

13 is what I used to get in town also. It even got 13 on the hiway, up hill, down hill, parked.

Re: Daily Driver

That is cool man, I drove my 71 daily before I tore it all about for the resto... Always loved stopping at the gas station and having folks come up and talk to me about her and the thumbs up at red lights.

Re: Daily Driver

Yes all OEM, however the rockers and cab corner need to be replaced. Truck has 90600 miles on it. I added the power brakes and p/s.
