Re: heater core replacement
Don't remember steps but it is way easier with no ac. Stand on your head and look up under the dash. Can't remember if taking glove box out makes it easier but it is an option. This may not even be necessary. Thinking on a non AC that all you do is take off box on firewall and wah lah. You can do it.

Re: heater core replacement
XRCR is right on all counts, especially the standing on your head part. No problem. Removing the glove box will make it easier, but is not required. Women and their need for heat . . .

Re: heater core replacement
if you take the glovebox off, it's easier to disconnect the heater cable.
undo the 3 bolts under your hood, your cables & duct work, 1 connector & a bracket on the pass. side. lesson learned, hold onto heater core pipes when re-attaching the hoses, i actually broke one enough to leak once when shoving the hose back on. |

Re: heater core replacement
Heard a lot of horror stories on this but I didn't really have any problems replacing mine. Even if you have A/C it's not that big a deal, just one bolt under the hood that's a little difficult. It took about 4 hours or so but it's the first time I did it.
