67 C5 vette themed truck??? HELP..

Hello Guys,
I have another question for you experts out there.
I am installing a LS1 in a 67 short step truck. I have true 67 no spare rear fenders and all steel bed. The entire truck is steel ( I know this sometimes plays a factor with fittment). I am wanting to keep the C5 vette them and install 2002 Z06 wheel. I know that the vette and camaros have some serious back spacing on them. My question is this can I install these wheels in a slammed (with bags) 67? I am open to afte market suspension suggestions and longer rear axle, but my question is can or HAS it been done?

I am also wanting to weld up a MAR K or similar smooth gate to the bedsides and install C5 lights and license box in the gate. Then I am looking for one of the metal fab shops to build a custom metal C5 roll pan. Does Sir Michaels take custom work? I bought some of there pans in the past and have been impressed with them.

Any Help guys is appreciated.

Similar, but the lights in the tailgate and the license box just below them like the c5's then the rollpan will look like the lower part of the c5 rear with the little raised are in the center of the pan. I am wanting my exhaust to exit there like the vette's as well.
I will have the tail gate completely stealthed with no chains at all. The latches will be on the inside of the bed with a smooth flush tonnueu cover. But, yes similar to this one. I hope I can find away to put the z06 vette wheels on it as well as the c5 side mirrors. I think this will be a one off and cool as well.

I think you'll need a thick set of spacers with the c5's bolt pattern, otherwise the wheels will be way to far in the fender.

You can get billet adapters up to 4" thickness so it shouldn't be a problem to put the Z06 wheels on your truck.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Do you know of a reputable dealer on those billet adapters?
I have heard many people say to steer clear of the older ones, so I want to make sure I get some from a reputable source.
Thanks for all the input guys.

I got a set of 4 inch spacers from them about five years ago dont know if they still do it or not but the spacers were perfect.

Thanks for the reply and the lead. I will say this they responded to my email very quickly. Unfortunatley they no longer sale spacers. Well back to the drawing board. Thanks so much for your input.
