SPID Question/Opinion

When my 72 comes home from the bodyshop hopefully early next year I want to have a new SPID label made for it .Should I have it made as it came from the factory or should I have it made to match the truck as it is not original .I saved the original glove box door with the original SPID in case someone wants to know what it was originally .It will retain its original color but thats about all that will be correct from the original truck. It will be Medium Red ,white painted bumpers ,sport rear bumper ,sliding rear window ,cargo light ,tach dash ,tilt column ,Black Fabric BoddyBucket Seats ,radio delete ,Vintage Air .About the only options this truck originally had was AM Radio with auto trans behind a 6 cylinder which had been changed by the time I bought it .
Thanks for any comments .
John

Re: SPID Question/Opinion

I would have one made to reflect how you've built it. As long as you've saved the original to prove how the truck was originally equipped thats all anyone could ask for.

X2...use the original GB door as wall art and have the new one made to reflect how it's currently outfitted.

Do it like you want. I had a new one made by member chipflyer (outintheshop.com) to reflect the new options I installed (tilt, tach, shoulder belts, among other things.)

Chipflyer does excellent work, I had mine made to reflect the changes I made to my truck.
