I'm getting ready to put my 20" wheels on and just wondering who left their stock brakes with out any expensive upgrades and what if any problems you have had. I have stock disc wondering if I should upgrade the rear. Im just looking for input. I know the larger rolling mass is going to make a difference.

I would imagine many people are rolling on stock brakes with larger rolling mass. I'd say your fine just adjust your breaking accordingly after you swap

i went from stockers on my 71 k20 to 35s couldnt tell that much of a difference at all but my 72 k10 with smaller brakes stops a lot better than the 71 did

No problems here on my 71 long bed with 20s. I did replace the rotors, bearings, and pads when I put my drop spindles on.

I have 20" Boss 338's with factory power front disc and drum rear's. I haven't noticed any problems at all. I did upgrade to S/S brake lines up front though.
I replaced the rear drums and shoes and wheel cyclinders about 2 years ago now. Truck stops pretty dog gone good.
I have thought about going bigger on the front are adding rear disc but haven't Convinced myself yet it's worth it $$$ for a driver.
It's a very nice cool factor though to add rear disc.

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
