will the cab from a 67 to 72 chassis/frame bolt up to a 73-87?

I've googled it, but I guess I have been searching for the wrong question.

how involved of a swap would it be?

thanks

The newer frame is longer in front of the cab and the core support mounts are too far forward. The 67-72 core support mounting needs to be relocated rearward. Frame horns need to be cut.
The frame behind the cab rises higher on '73+,so the cab needs to be raised to align with bed. You see 4wd swaps like this, but 2wd not so much. It's best to stay with the 67-72 frames unless you want a jacked-up 2wd. There are more good 67-72 frames than good cabs, from my experience,so never had the need for such a swap

The one i seen locally was not so nice.Alot of cutting and hacking to get it fit right.I would try to find a correct frame.
