Breaks

Hi all,
I have a break question. Since I did my swap and had to pull the vacume off the break booster, do I need to bleed the breaks now that I have hooked it back up?

Re: Breaks

Did you open the brake hydraulic system at all? Hydraulic system, yes. Vacuum system, no.

FWIW, "break" made me go get a cup of coffee. lol

Re: Breaks

hahahaha, As far as breaks go I am even more ignorant than with an engine so I am not sure what would constitute the hydro system but as far as I know the only thing that was touched was the vacuum hose was the only thing taken off.

Re: Breaks

Did you loosen the fittings on the rigid steel lines that connect to the master cylinder at all? If you did not, then you should not need to bleed the BRAKES as you would not have introduced air into the system.

Re: Breaks

Just bustin' on ya.
If all you pulled was the vacuum off the booster, you should be good to go.
