Modify the hood release?
The ease of access to our old trucks has been on my mind for some time now. My trucks current location is secure but it won't be staying that way for much longer. My hope is that most idiots won't be able to easily steal (understand) a three speed on the tree and the old hand choke will keep most at bay..... God bless radio delete plates! SO the engine is my next question. Batteries are a an easy steal these days....Are there any options for securing the hood similar to the hood latches found on newer vehicles? Heck, just hiding an external hood release would be a sweet option. Options, pictures maybe?

Re: Modify the hood release?
There is more than one thread on installing a hood release cable from a late model pickup. Do a search for hood release cable. That should produce something. Point is, it has been done and it is not difficult.
