Are these the ones U mean.

If so they slide into the trim peices and the little tang part holds them in place so they want slide after you place them. Some times the trim has to be bent just so slightly to insert them.

This is from memory since the last repaint I did away with all my trim.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: tail light bezel clips

I doesn't believe it matters - when I did mine, if I recall, because of the length of the tang - one went toward the inside on one side and toward the outside on the opposite side. Had to do it this way because, when you think about it, they only "twist in" in one direction to lock in the groove - and so there's no way for them to face the same direction on the opposite sides of the truck - because there isn't enough room for the tang (i'm kinda referring to the upper retainer point on the bezel).
That's how I recall it - bottom line, twist it on at the point where the hole will line up with the clasp - and it should make sense which sense the tang needs to point when you do that. i.e. if you install it the wrong way - it wouldn't fit correctly, would protrude up into the curved portion of the bezel.

If my memory serves me right they go to the outside. Hopefully some one who has installed them lately will chime in. It's been several years since I did mine.
The small tang is suppose to dig into the soft metal and keep them in place. The clips go in at a angle to the trim.
