Headlight foot switch w/no carpet?
I pulled my carpet and the switch is way tall now. So tall that I broke the switch while wheeling last weekend.
I noticed that there is a shorter switch but the connector is different. Anybody heard of a shorter switch with 3 horizontal prongs?

Not sure what you got going on there but if it was me,.... I would cut a hole in a rubber mat (surounding the switch, what ? maybe 3"X3") and place/glue it on the sheetmetal. Take care of the hieghth head-ache;
