Holley coke control location

I need to install the choke control in the cab and was wondering if anyone ever installed the control in their ashtray? Thought that might be out of site and seems like it would work. Installed a Holley manual choke carb.

Re: Holley coke control location

Put it on the left side of the steering column. Kinda hard to work it on the right side.
When you install it, set it up so that about 1/8 inch is sticking out on the knob. THat way when you push it in it won't bottom out and you will be sure the choke is open all the way.

Put it on the steering column? Or are you talking about the dash on the left side of the steering column?
