Seats for my truck C10 69

Hi folks:
I have separate seats on my truck but sometimes on my breaks I need to sleep but very unconfortable so I want to go back one piece seat. I'd like to see the what you have in your trucks and what vehicles were the donors.
Thank you.

I think that most guys here who have bench seats are using the originals, or at least ones out of similar Chevy pickups

Talking Re: Seats for my truck C10 69

I used a 60/40 seat out of a 89-90's Chevy truck.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Andy:

I like your seats, was it a direct bolt in? Or what mods did you have to do?

So that's what those are. The 67 I'm purchasing has a similar set up in gray cloth. Not sure if I like them in my truck though. Is that a popular option? I was thinking of going buckets. Thanks

No

U have to reinforce the bottom of the cab to install them. Well to make them safe anyway.
I used heavy washers but would be better to tach some angle under the cab I suppose.
I like them and I like the way they sit also. Drove the truck 3200miles back in June on the 2013 Power Tour with no problems.

Re: Seats for my truck C10 69

I went with the '04 style buckets with the integrated seat belts in my '67. I'm right at 6' and around 225lbs (depending on which bbq place I'm coming back from) and these are a bit too close to the firewall. They're comfortable and fit nicely, but I'll probably try to find an original bench seat or try the second row seat from a Suburban/Tahoe.
