Body mounts or rust repair?

I have been a registered user for about a year. I finally decided to help support the cause. This forum has certainly helped me head off some issues with the build of my 72' Jimmy. The question I have for the members is this. I have plenty of rust repair to do. All the typical areas. I also need to do the body mounts. Should one be done before the other or all at once? Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Fresh mounts first.

X2 on the mounts. You want the body sitting properly on the frame before you start fixing/adjusting panels.

Re: Body mounts or rust repair?

I was leaning that way. Thanks for the input. I'm sure this has been asked somewhere in the forum. Should the top be on or off when getting the body adjusted on the frame and setting the door and panel gaps? Thanks again!
