Western chassis drop kits

Looking for any type of reviews for Western Chassis drop kits. I'm looking to do a 4/6 on my 87 R10, and they seem to be the only ones who offer an actual 4/6 kit.

Welcome to the board!
Western Chassis has been around longer than anyone else.
Top notch products.
You can't go wrong with them or Belltech.

Western Chassis has been around for a long time. I bought my 1st set of spindles from them back around 87 or 88. Been using them (& Bell Tech) ever since w/o issue.

One thing to know is the rear drop is dependant on the number of leafs in the spring pack when using a flip kit. If there are <5 leafs, a flip kit yields about 5" drop; 6-8 leafs get the full 6" drop.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Including the helper spring, my truck has 4 leaves. I just bought this truck a couple weeks ago. But I thought the rear set a little lower than it should. Maybe the previous owner pulled one out.

Welcome to the board, and clean looking truck! Western Chassis makes nice stuff. Another brand that offers a 4/6, well 4.5"/6, is McGaughys.

Ok I have been talking to you thru email on my recent purchase and return of djm spindles and their complete lack of customer service. I'm ready to order another set of spindles for my truck, and I want to make damn sure whatever I order will work with the powerstop cross-drilled rotors I ordered from you with my stock calipers. I know you told me they would work fine but after the issues I had with djm I just want to be completely sure, thanks.

Re: Western chassis drop kits

Good talking with you, and will get you all setup with the McGaughys spindles. They are a great spindle to go with, and have used this spindle w/ the PowerSlot rotors many times.
