Rear window roll down kit...
Just wondereing if there's anybody out there that makes a kit for my truck (71 C10) that will let me roll the back glass window down? I saw a mini truck on the net with this done and liked it. Plus I sometime do shows and like the idea of having something different than everyone else.

Re: Rear window roll down kit...
They make such a kit for a '31 Ford Model A (it was a mid year factory option).
You could probably adapt something like that to work. It was basically the addition of a glass track on either side of the window, plus a manual window regulator, covered with the production back panel trim. K

If you type the words "electric rear window" into the GOOGLE search box at the top of this page, click on the circle in front of "67-72chevytrucks.com" and click on the GOOGLE button you will find lots of threads on the subject. Just make sure the thread you are looking at refers to your style of truck. (Hits will include all years) LockDoc

Re: Rear window roll down kit...
I am going to make a rear window that pops out at the bottom on my 68. The idea is the same as the side windows on an Astro van. I have the rear window cut, tempered, and drilled already for the install.
