Hunting Season!

One of my earliest memories of these trucks is from a snow/ice storm during the 1970 hunting season. How many of you guys use your trucks for hunting? Any pictures?

Re: Hunting Season!

Neat picture! These trucks just seem to go with hunting, at least for me.

A good friend of mine is a farrier - he shoes horses for a living. When we both were younger he moved to Wyoming to practice his trade. During those years I joined him on a few elk hunting trips into the Wind River range near Dubois. This photo - taken in 1994 - is of my friend working on a horse next to his truck which the following year became my truck. Which I still own.

Most if not all my photos from those trips back then were taken on film cameras. Digital photography for the unwashed was still a few years off.

Re: Hunting Season!

My dad wasn't a hunter and we never did invest in good cameras. I plan to get some hunting pics using my truck when it's running.

Took this shot today. spotted a good blown down maple while hunting this morning. thought I might be able to get to it with the 67 K20. My new power steering gear was a blessing in the woods!
