Project "Larry's Limo" 72' Cheyenne Super
Well, I also have another Build on here Project "Ol'Rover" but 71 C10 stepper project has stalled out since my father has been working on the house.
I have since been restoring my grandfathers 1986 K1500, and rebuilt my old truck from high school and sold it, to make room to bring this ol girl home! * A little history, I was working at Canadian tire on the parts desk when I was 15 (im 22 now) working with the owner of this truck, I told him my dad and I were restoring a 71, and he told me he had a 72, I stopped by one weekend and took a look, I wanted to buy it, I saved all the money I had which was 1500 bucks from cutting grass the summer before. He wouldn't sell then. A month ago I went into Canadian tire to get parts and was talking to the lad and he wondered if I was still interested, I couldn't pass it up when he asked if I still had the 1500 I saved. (unfortunately a couple years ago his ***hole neighbor dumped paint stripper on it. I pick the ol girl up today, went over yesterday and fired it up and made sure it moved under its own power.

Re: Project "Larry's Limo" 72' Cheyenne Super
well, over the winter I plan on getting it mechanically sound, rebuilding the motor and swapping in a 700R4, I found out LMC offers a full suspension & steering rebuild package for 500 bucks! so ill be doing that, It needs a little floor work and some rust repair under the cab, and new body mounts, im going to try to clean the paint up a bit grind out where it was hit with stripper and try to colour match the paint with a spray can, until I can afford the 3500$ factory 2 tone paint job, (love white and green two tone) going to turn it into a summer driver.
