I think people do this just to get free advertisment. Did you see the ad - "Oh we can redo this blazer for you if need be" They are just lookin' to sell this before the time runs out.

The bids were at $650 but now it is gone. I bet someone said "I'll take it if you restore it!" It looked like a good starting point to me. Oh, well. I couldn't have brought it up from So. Cal anyway.

There was a guy on CK5 who had his Blazer fixed up there. He has since sold it, but it looked like they did a really nice job. I'm sure he paid $$$ for it though. They did a custom roll cage & bumpers for him too.
