1969 Chevy C10
After a failed go at it back in 2002 and slow progress on my '69 that I bought back in 2007, I am finally getting my truck fixed up. As I got older and wiser I realized that my truck will never get to where I want it if I do it myself because I just don't have the experience and skill to make it happen, so I decided to pony up and pay someone to do it.
My goals as given to the shop:
Here are some before pics: ![]()

Re: 1969 Chevy C10
I got it to the shop the other day and they started pulling things apart and found a few issues.
Rusted out under the cowl on both sides. ![]() ![]() Rusted area on the firewall. ![]() Gonna need some rocker repair. ![]() And kick panels too. ![]() Surprised the windshield wiper motor wasn't just rotating in place... ![]() Bought a 5.3L (LMG) with a 6 speed auto with 15k miles out of a 2011 Silverado today. Can't wait to see it fill this space. ![]()

Here's the original SPID that some dillhole sprayed over. At least he failed at peeling it off.

Re: 1969 Chevy C10
Sorry for the enormous pictures, but I haven't figured out how to resize images in Google+ yet.
It's back from the blaster, frame's been painted and rust repair has begun. ![]() ![]() The new gas tank. The 72 door panel is not going in my truck. It's one I found in the junkyard and am giving to someone with a 72. ![]()
