2001 Sliverado Seat install help !

i seen a bunch of pictures with these seats installed . So if any of you can help me out with some info , and pictures how you mounted them ( i still have the gas tank behind my seat ) . It will be a big help . its 3 piece with the seat / armrest

My guess is to do it right, you will need to weld reinforcement plates on the underside of the cab. Are the seat belts part of your seats or can you use the original belt cab mount locations?

My 67 came with a smaller older bench seat. Only one hole lines up with the original cab mount bolts and there is a big fat fender washer holding the opposite one down. Not very safe with the bench being held into place with 2 bolts... I've got a 71 non-folding bench seat ready to be restored. Replacing the foam/seat cover will cost a grip even with me doing the work. A local shop quoted me at $500 in just labor cost. If I provide the seat cover they don't guarantee the fitment.

I've been to a ton of Car Shows this summer and SEMA, our trucks look really good with a modern seat. So I'm leaning towards this upgrade over the original seat.

I bought the seats that have the seat belts in them them .. That's why I got those lol for " saftey " reasons lol the lap band wasn't cutting it . My truck is a daily driver , I got my set for 200 and they are pretty good shape . I will just end up putting some seat covers on them . I thought they would just line up with the holes that were there .. But I was wrong lol.. Trucks look nice with the newer seats !

I put these in my '69 not too long ago, and the process was pretty straight forward. I still have my tank in the cab also. I just put the seats in the truck, centered side to side and drilled 8 new holes. I used the biggest grade 8 bolts that fit in the existing seat brackets, with large fender washers on the underside of the cab. The driver seat is power and the truck is non-a/c so I used that circuit for the seat. I'll take pictures in the AM.

Thanks!! I used the stock tracks that were on the new seats. As you have seen the center seat uses the same holes as the outside seats so 8 mounting spots. I forgot until I took these pictures that most of the corners contact the floor but one or two needed about a 1" shim because of the floor pan dropping down. I stacked 4-5 washers and it worked just fine. Once I had the seats centered left to right and had them back to where was comfortable with the recline I marked the 8 holes and step drilled them. The rust spots on the carpet is where the old dodge? bench seat was mounted.

Sorry 1 more question ... Lol , so the center seat it's bolted down with the other seats brackets overlapping the center one ?

No problem, your welcome. Correct, the center seat interlocks with the main seats and the bolt goes through both the main seat and the center seat bracket to tie them together.

The '99-'07 Chevy seats have the belts integrated into the seat. That was one of my reasons for them, along with the center jumpseat and a dime a dozen.

69C-10 what are you running for carpet, brand and color?

I picked up a set of seats just like what you have a couple weeks ago and kind of like the carpet you have, it matches pretty good.

I got them over lapping like you told me .. Just have enough room for the armrest seat fold back .. And wanted to know if the seat rail should stick out so much

My tracks are approx 4" from inside edge of sill trim to center of bolt hole. The outside rear holes are approx 16 1/2" from cab wall to center of hole. What I would do is center your middle seat and slide it back so that the top touches the tank when flipped up to use the seat. Drill those 4 holes, then take the center out and use those holes to index the outside seats and drill 4 outside holes.

Sorry, I'm not sure, the carpet was in it when I bought it.
