My son bought this 1988 Toyota pickup and said it was perfect just like it is.

and it wheels to, he's not stuck just taking pics this pickup has 5.29 gears and is locked front and rear it has custom front and rear drive lines with cv joints it also has a alarm with remote start and electric locks, a nice stereo with 12 inch woofer and 4 kicker 6x9 speakers all in a regular cab

This is great job you both have done ,,very good work,,I like the color and the bobbing of the rear also .. and your using it for what it's built for...say,, what did you do with the salmon plates that you first had on it ? I would be interested in buying them from you ..I used to be your neighbor last year..well, sorta (sucking up I am ),,I lived at Rainier Oregon down the Columbia river where that salmon might if been once upon a time ..lol

Sweet little truck, and that green is a sharp colour!
I have a soft spot for the older Toyotas, had a pickup a while ago and currently have a 1988 4Runner. Fun vehicles and catch lots of attention even when they aren't trying to be flashy! |

Very nice!
I have always been a fan of the Toyota 4x4 pick ups. Ran around in a nice '83 for many years, then I got a '87 4runner, then a '96, then a '02 which I still have. They just run an run. My '02 I have had since new, and is a TRD, v6, 5spd, 4x4, extra cab. The only thing I have done to it is put in a King suspension with extended UCA's. Plus a taller tire. Haven't had to do anything with it, other than change the oil and replace a battery.

Absolutely love those older toyota trucks. Too bad I never owned one as I could never really fit in the driver's seat due to my tall height. I did get to use one regularly and enjoyed it because it had the "extra cab" feature where there was probably 8" added to the length of the cab.
