where would be the best place to locate a roof rack for my 66 carry all?

Here is an option on how to make one:
http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...ight=roof+rack or buy a CarPac/ClassicRack wooden rack brand, but they can be pricey(CL, EBay, etc.) Factory racks required drilling. Get one off an old big station wagon from a junkyard and adapt it. I prefer the wood.

I have one on a 66 GMC Suburban, I don't think its 100% correct for the year but it fits well. Can get some pics if interested.

Heres that roof rack, its in OK condition but the chrome stands look weathered.

Not sure what it came from originally , was on this one when I bought it for parts. Yes there's a few old Chevys here. Way to many projects !! But ya gotta have parts to build them.

Here is a surf board rack I seen in Daytona Turkey Run last weekend. Looks like the same mounts as the ones in reference thread with custom wood board racks. Pretty cool. This is the burb for Eckler's truck parts area of the swap.
