Problem after left turn
I have a 1985 K10 with stock axles. I dont drive it all that much. But with winter here I need it if we get alot of snow. After I make a left hand turn it feels like the left front hub is trying to lock in. It still has the automatic locking hubs if that matters. Once I make the turn I have back up about 10 feet to make it go away. After that all is fine until i make another left turn. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Problem after left turn
Sounds like a frozen axle u-joint to me, a pretty common problem on a 4x4 that rarely gets its front axle engaged. (And by frozen I mean seized from rust)

Re: Problem after left turn
Taker the autohubs off and put on a decent set of warns. The autos get gummed up inside and do not let the mechanism inside work properly. You end up with a hub that only partially engages.......hence the noise
