Just the other day i had the urge to smell some rubber and i thought why don't i ask what everyone's favorite technique for doing a burnout or breaking traction and having some concrete skating was? And what your opinion is on being the nicest to "the ol' Beast was"...

Pin to 5 grand, dump the clutch, and speed shift the three on the tree!!

When I had an engine that would do that, I would just mash the loud pedal and hang on.

Nothing too fancy here, jus give a little brake and the 496 does the rest, it doesn't take much with 570 ft lb tq

I don't know if this is off subject but I was working on my Mom's car when I was a kid. She needed to go to the store so I told her she cold take my 66 Olds Starfire with a mildly built 425 under the hood. She was used to her F**d station wagon. She got in the Olds. Idled it out of the drive. Pushed down on the gas. Fried the tires. Jammed the brakes. Fried the tires. Put it in park. Got out, left it idling in the street and said "I'm not driving that piece of junk. Just get my breaks fixed!"

My favorite don't drive the truck, get in the Vette.

They're trucks with little weight over the rear... pedal to the floor breaks 'em loose easy with a V8 and 3.73. I can even get a second gear scratch with my 700R and worn out 350.
