New to the forum with my '70 C-10
Been lurking on the forums for a while, signed up in the beginning of the month. Haven't had any reason to post because I was always able to find the info I was looking for by searching and not asking questions. Anyways, just brought home my '70 C-10 Fleetside last night after some driveshaft trouble in PA. Now that it's at its new home in CT, took it out today for a nice Sunday drive. Most likely she's done for the year (Who knows? We can get our first snow of the year any day now for all I know) but I snapped a couple pics on my cell phone before we hit the road. Now that I have some issues to work out, I may become a little more active. So here are a couple of quick cell phone snaps:

Re: New to the forum with my '70 C-10
Welcome and thats a very nice looking ride. I noticed the full wheel covers. Mine came with them but I replaced them with rally wheels. Might have made a mistake. Maybe I will alternate for change up.
I also like the color. |

Re: New to the forum with my '70 C-10
Thx. Got sick and tired of dreaming, and went out and got one. I like the slant noses too but I wanted one with a 2-tone really bad. I prefer the rally wheels myself but these covers are correct for this truck as well as that storage compartment that I will most likely never use.

Very nice ride you have there. even has the tool compartment on the side. I like the way the rims are painted the same as the truck, I have to do it to mine. welcome!

Nice truck! Glad to hear your gonna put her away for the season. New England winters like to chew nice trucks up and spit them back out! LOL Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Wow, your truck looks amazing. I never even realized there was a bedside cargo door option. You learn something new every day.

Welcome and I must say that is an awesome looking truck. I have that same bedside tool box but was thinking about getting rid of it.

Re: New to the forum with my '70 C-10
StoningtonQB, would you mind posting some pics of the toolbox? I'd like to know more about it since I never knew of them before. I'm curious what it looks like inside.
