ZZ454 header fitting
Okay guys I have a 72 C-10 that I just bought a ZZ454 for. I know some people had questions on the fitting of long tube headers so I thought I would post some pictures. The bottom flange of the header was interfering with the lower head bolts. So they did need to be notched out. I used a die grinder with a carbide burr. Before fitting you will probably want to tape the exhaust ports to prevent any metal filings from entering the head. Hope this helps!

Re: ZZ454 header fitting
I bought Hooker headers because I thought they would fit...NOT! I had to do the same thing but I used an angle grinder. Only problem is if you have ceramic coated headers (like I do), there goes part of the coating and any warranty on the headers is gone also.
