Re: save this body

I typed in 1950 chevy truck, I was thinking about picking it up but I only need one fender so hopefully some one else can get it and make it in to some thing, looks very solid

Whammer, make sure you look up both 1949 chevy and 49 chevy. (but do it with all years)
They bring up very different results.

Re: save this body

Looking at the add again this morning I was thinking "now there is a candidate for an S-10 swap if I ever saw one."

Re: save this body

we were texting back and forth a bit yesterday. he's pretty short with responses but here's what i got from him.

"yes theres rust. no other pics right now. cab is probably the worst of everything".

i asked how bad the cab was. "3 out a 10 probably"

i asked the bad spots on the cab. "corners, floor, body mounts, firewall"

Re: save this body

Probably why it hadn't sold yet then. Still I don't think the price is out of line all that much for the parts I see there. It does look like they cut the bottoms off the fenders to match the bottom of the cab though.
