New member, new truck, many $$
Purchased a '66 gmc v6 3/4 farm truck. It has low miles but it had set for several years before I got it this past march.

I like the last pic!
Re-Trac mirrors, nice accessory. Any more pictures of the interior and engine compartment. Were picture addicts here. Oh yeah, welcome to the site. Any questions don't be shy.

Re: New member, new truck, many $$
great looking truck! Does it still have the big block V6? Looks like you lost the caps on the driver's side too. Those can be expensive to replace. If you didnt get them when you bought it I'd go talk to the previous owner and get them to give them up
Good luck! Keep us updated on what you're doin. Like Aero said, we're nuts for pics!

Re: New member, new truck, many $$
It only had 45,000 mi. when purchased, now 46,500. Next step is a new white
oak bed, which I just finished stain & seal. Paid $1,000 but have done clutch, tires, fuel lines, brakes & lines, radiator, etc. Running great now that timing problem is fixed. Plan to leave it as is and enjoy it ! |

The rear tires are Power King Super Traction 7.50 x 16 on Dodge rims and caps are 70's dog dish.

Re: New member, new truck, many $$
Welcome aboard! It's a cool, old truck with great character. Looks like a great one to leave as-is & enjoy, which you said you're already doing. I dig that last pic of the first post as well.

The front of seat fuel tank option was only available in the Deluxe models. Lucky to find one that the original owner didn't lose the tank. Great find and love the look.
