ANKLE SURGERY (leaf springs)
snapped front drivers side 2 years ago, due to old condition,
now the helper spring on the opposite side, rear end popped just haulin 1/4 a cord of wood and running over a 3 inch tall stick. Sounds like new suspension time. (at least on the rear, I hopefully can get another front spring) any suggestions? good leaf spring setups? mods to improve articulation without compromising highway capabilities? or just try to stay original. If so, what are some other things that should be inspected at this point to prevent multiple attempts? I know I'm looking at the diy4x4 shackle flips,in the end I want some Humvee beadlocks so maybe just go with a 4" lift? Definitly need this to go on the highway, and my style is durable and functional. thank you! |

Re: ANKLE SURGERY (leaf springs)
Find a spring shop they can make you springs to do exactly what you want and its a lot cheaper than you would think. They can make you lift springs that still have good load capacity and stability.
