deluxe trim
I'm installing deluxe fender trim on my 70'. Does anyone have any tricks to drilling the holes for the clips in the correct place?
Thanks, |

Re: deluxe trim
I used the factory assembly manual for the locations. Use a step bit to drill the holes.

Re: deluxe trim
I've seen that on a few trucks (didn't notice it in this vid) so I think it is a common mistake. Whatever you do - make sure to get measurements from a known original truck or from a member or from the assembly manual (best source).

Re: deluxe trim
Here is an old thread with scans from the GM assembly manual, showing the hole locations for the trim:

Re: deluxe trim
Which trim follows the wheel wells? Is that OE or aftermarket? I think Ive only seen it on 67/68s.
Similar to this although Ive seen a better one on this forum that is solid, doesnt have the split in the center. ![]() |
