Here's my brand new '79!

This is Lester!

Yes, I know the picture is crappy. But I was too excited not to present him to y'all! Just brought him home from about an hour away. There's a lot of work that needs done, but he's plenty drivable as is. And that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Thanks! It, like a lot of people I know, looks better in low light. The bed is not great, and the pass. door has some rust on the bottom. It's the grungiest vehicle I own right now, so that means it's pretty much been relegated to winter duty. Of course, I wash my vehicles all weekly in the winter, so it shouldn't be too hard on it.

*was* a 5.7 diesel. I'm the 3rd owner. The first owner was a horse farmer and blew up the diesel around 60,000 miles. Now it has an Oldsmobile 350.

Ok,so it's "still" and Olds 350!

Looks nice. I like the narrow whitewalls w/earlier wheelcover look. I know that's going to change, though. I think all you'll find these days in a whitewall 235/75-15 is all season.
