Excited!!!
Hawks third gen Camaro called today.
They want my truck dropped off Thursday morning to start the 6.0 LSx motor swap! They are pulling the old tired 305TPI out and replacing it with a 2003 6.0 I bought. My Christmas gift to myself. Here is the thread over in the LSx motor swap section. Should be done the first week of Janurary are so I hope! Picture of the 6.0 motor. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=597993

Re: Excited!!!
Nice plant!!! What's it going in? I would love to put one of those in my 96 regular cab SportSide if the 5.0 Vortec ever goes bad! It has a NV3500, which I know the LSX would shred, but I want to keep it a manual, most likely a 6sp. Think that would be a difficult swap?
Danny Oh, keep us posted!! |
