Re: 1969 RUSTCREAM truck

This is my 1969 gmc budget van I want to put in power steering I was told it sits on a shortened 1969 1500 truck frame and all the stuff from a 73to87 truck will work for a perfect bolt on swap? It has a 250 straight six if that means anything can someone please let me know what I can grab from the junk yard that will bolt up? Thanks guys.

Re: 1969 RUSTCREAM truck

That could be a really cool ride. You could bag it and repaint it and then sell ice cream out of it at car shows. I know around here that would be a huge hit.

The power steering is a bolt in deal if you can find the pump brackets. They are hard to come by. Be sure the brackets are for a 250ci the 292ci brackets are different. I think the integral head brackets are different too but I think I read that they can be modified to work. Be sure and get all of the pulleys and associated pieces.....
