Suspension vibration under heavy braking??
I recently had this event hapen twice:
I was cruising along at highway speed and had to brake quickly and the entire truck started to vibrate heavily. The best I can relate it to would be a tank slapper when riding a motorcycle. I let off the brakes enough for it to stop and then reapplied and it was fine. Any ideas?

Re: Suspension vibration under heavy braking??
any of your front suspension can cause this and might be hard to track down. this is sometimes referred to as "death wobble"
steering stabilizer bushing/sway bar bushings/leaf spring bushings/tie rod ends/kingpins springs/bushings/shock bushings. sounds like it might just be time for a thorough suspension tune-up |
