Dash repair
I am looking at an original 2wd Blazer and it has an odd cut to the dash, I'm really not sure why someone would do this. Can this be fixed and how would it be done? Patch panel available?

Re: Dash repair
Post a WTB add inn the parts section and someone out there will have a piece that will fix that. You will need to have it welded in and finished.
Add the same photo to your wanted to buy add. The alternative is to replace the whole dash section which still requires welding and is a lot more work. Good luck

Re: Dash repair
Isnt that the ash tray area? Ive got one i wont be using, your welcome to it. Some damage to the radio opening, but otherwise intact.....
Those two holes are just for ashtray bumpers, one looks alittle large

Re: Dash repair
Teeitup usually has these oem panels for radio repairs.
If your adding air,... I would consider a complete dash swap with a factory air dash.

Re: Dash repair
Just trying to get a feel for how much work it will take to finish it up. It will need the dash repaired as well as patches on the bottoms (inside) of each door to have all of the sheet metal solid. After that it will be PB suspension and interior work. Hmmm

Re: Dash repair
There are aftermarket dash replacements for the stereo being cut. I can't remember who carries them, It may have been lmc or brothers but I know they are made.

Re: Dash repair
Looks like a hole for a CB radio to me. Bad,very bad! It can be fixed fairly easy though.
