Pretty nice alright! Like 60-66 said, just a couple details
away from an accurate restoration. Sure wouldn't take much!
Q: Are the white wheels correct for GMC? I know Chevy would be black on a truck at that trim/paint level.

This is from a 1965 GMC Data book.




Answer is yes. Only GMC used white rims, Chevrolet used the main Body color on their rims or black.

WOWZA!!!! I'll bet it took a week to upload all the pictures! LOL! Looks to me like one heck of a beautiful truck! MAN! Even the frame and everything has been gone through! Have to say $10k is a dang good price.

Quality of the work is very impressive. Hopefully this truck should be a inspiration for those considering a factory type restorations. This GMC 1000 shatters the myth about longbed stepsides.

Makes you wonder why GMC did not continue offering the 270 I6 in pickups after 1959? In 64, GMC brought back the I6 after a 4 year disappearance.
